Jody Brewster

Jody Brewster is a multi-disciplinary creative professional, architect and engineer exploring the next generation of human interface systems, interactive, social, and adaptive media design. With over 15 years of experience in the software industry, Jody has successfully led complex projects with small and large teams, covering various aspects of software development, process and methodology. Extensive experience in Object-Oriented design and development, presentation and server side frameworks, and web application architecture and implementation.

Assisted the CIO in implementing and managing more than a dozen different web properties, corporate Sharepoint intranet/extranet and digital media marketing campaigns under the BJI corporation.

• Managed and produced an advanced ASP.NET / C# product administration site that powered more than a dozen web properties.
  

• Produced annual DVDs for Brown Jordan's new product collections.
  

• Oversaw the development and SharePoint integration of Brown Jordan International's intranet.
  

• Produced BJIConnect, BJI's corporate extranet, which provides order inquiry, purchase order management, media & marketing material fulfillment, CRM system, and sales forecasting.
  

• Site started in asp / sql server and is slowly migrating to .net.
  

• Produced an Order Writer Bar Code Catalog for our custom built order writer which uses pdflib to output the catalog of products for each brand with their corresponding product number, image, and barcode.
  

• Producing a couple mini-sites and small 'web visible' projects.

• Designed and developed GUI system for java based data replication software. The GUI was produced in Flash, displaying live XML data.
  

• Some programming of eLoanSaver.com comprising mainly of Servlets and JSP. Our focus during the development was with the general security of the site since it would involve B2B transactions with a banking system carrying personal financial data on each customer.
  

• Responsible for the initial decisions on technical requirements for the company's business model, which required the initial hiring and management of the software developers until a formal CTO was placed.
  

• Oversaw all web development stages from production to launch
